Mrs. Tomorrah Howard, Principal

Sunset Ridge Elementary Community,

Mrs. Tomorrah Howard is proud to serve as the Principal of Sunset Ridge Elementary School and is dedicated to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and student-centered learning environment where every child can thrive.

Throughout her career in education, Mrs. Howard has served in a variety of leadership and instructional roles, including classroom teacher, technology coach, campus data specialist, and summer school coordinator. She holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Grand Canyon University, a second Master's Degree in Educational Technology, and a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Chicago State University.

Mrs. Howard is passionate about educating the whole child and believes that every student deserves access to high-quality instruction, meaningful learning experiences, and a supportive school community. She is committed to fostering a culture where students feel valued, challenged, and empowered to achieve both academic and personal success.

Outside of school, Mrs. Howard enjoys spending time with her husband and their three children. She loves visiting Walt Disney World, going to the movies, exploring local restaurants, and playing classic video games like Mario, Pac-Man, and Sonic.

Mrs. Howard is honored to serve the Sunset Ridge community and looks forward to partnering with students, families, and staff to continue building a culture of excellence where every learner can succeed.

Mr. Will Seward, Assistant Principal

It is with great excitement that we welcome Mr. Seward as the new Assistant Principal of Sunset Ridge Elementary School!

With more than 20 years of experience in education, Mr. Seward brings a wealth of knowledge, leadership, and enthusiasm to the Sunset Ridge community. Throughout his career, he has served as a Spanish teacher, World Languages Department Chair, mentor teacher, and assistant principal, building strong relationships with students, families, and staff every step of the way.

Mr. Seward earned his Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Education from the University of Montana, a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix, and a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Supervision from Arizona State University.

As a bilingual educator and instructional leader, Mr. Seward is passionate about creating meaningful learning experiences that inspire students to reach their full potential. He believes that positive relationships, family engagement, and collaborative leadership are the foundation of a thriving school community. He is committed to supporting both students and staff while helping foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where everyone can succeed.

Mr. Seward is excited to join the Sunset Ridge family and looks forward to getting to know the students, staff, and families who make the school community so special. He is eager to help make the 2026–2027 school year a successful and memorable one for all Cougars.
